1. Introduction

Welcome to TheInteriorDesigners (“Company”, “We”, “Us”). By accessing or engaging our services through theinteriordesigners.in, you (“Client”, “You”) agree to these terms. Please review them carefully as continued use indicates your acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

We offer comprehensive interior design and execution for residential and commercial spaces, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, lighting, flooring, electrical/civil work, false ceilings, wall design, and painting. Quotes, project scope, and timelines are agreed upon before commencement.

3. Orders & Project Management

  • Project Definition: A “project” refers to design and/or execution for a single property. Multiple orders (kitchens, civil works, painting) may be placed per project.

  • Minimum Order Value: Orders begin from ₹150,000.

  • Scope Changes: Any alterations after finalized BOQ require client approval and may change pricing or timelines.

  • Quote Validity: Quotes remain valid for 21 days before booking payment; locked for 60 days after booking. Beyond this, prices may be revised.

4. Booking & Payment

  • Booking Fee: A 10% advance confirms engagement; refundable only within 72 hours under our Cooling-Off policy.

  • Payment Schedule:

    • Modular items: 10% booking, 40% before execution, 50% before delivery.

    • On-site work: 10% booking, 80% during execution, 10% upon completion.

    • Products: 10% booking, 90% before dispatch.

  • Scope Increase: New additions incur an additional 10% booking.

  • Non-compliance: Delays in payment may delay the project timeline.

5. Project Timelines & Delay Penalties

  • Estimated Timeline:

    • <₹5L: 45 days | ₹5–8L: 55 days | ₹8–12L: 70 days | ₹12–15L: 80 days | ₹15–20L: 90 days

  • Delay Conditions: Cover site access, external contractors, design changes, force majeure, or non-payment.

  • Penalties: If delayed beyond 15 working days without valid reason — penalty of ₹500/day (capped at 3% of total project value).

6. Delivery & Execution

  • Execution begins post-design sign-off and 50% milestone payment.

  • Separate charges apply for higher floor unloading.

  • Store-purchased branded products will be invoiced by their suppliers.

7. Warranty & Post-Handover Support

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products.

  • One free maintenance visit within 6 months ensures alignment of fittings (hinges, channels, etc.).

8. Cancellation & Refund

  • Cancellations allowed only within 72 hours of booking.

  • Custom products or built items are non-cancellable post-booking.

  • Refunds are subject to deduction of promotional benefits.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, layouts, and materials remain the intellectual property of TheInteriorDesigners until full payment is received. Usage rights are restricted unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client under the project.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City/State].
